Music Therapy

What is music therapy?

Music therapy uses music-based interventions to address clinical goals. Examples include songwriting to cope with grief, singing to improve speech, or using music to aid movement in Parkinson's patients. Board-certified music therapists (MT-BC) complete accredited programs with 1200 hours of supervised clinical work.
