Service Description
Have you ever wanted to learn how to produce electronic music or electronic dance music? This is the course for You! Taught by Ryan Gaynor (RPG), a previous faculty member at RIT who taught Electronic Music Production for undergrad & HS students. He has also released music on an EDM label, a royalty-free producer marketplace site, & independently. Students will pay 1/2 of the course at the start ($320) and will be billed the remaining 1/2 ($320) during the second month. The course can be taken in person or online! The following topics will be covered in the course: -Introduction to a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) -Creating sample & MIDI-based percussion tracks -Creating layered basslines -Designing sound effects and ambience -Creating lead melodies and harmonies -Synthesizing melodic and atmospheric sounds -Adding vocals or vocal effects -Processing tracks with equalization, compression, delay, reverb, and other effects -Introduction to synthesis -Song Structure -Arranging & Mixing
